Multiple Source Controls?

Is it possible to install Ankh 2.0 into a Visual Studio system that works already with SourceSafe? Is it possible to switch between the two? I have one solution in SourceSafe, but another I want to put into SVN to test it. Would I have problems in Visual Studio with this? I hope this makes sense. Thanks,

The way Visual Studio impliments Source Control from reading the specs on writing provider addins seem that this is not possible.
