It was actually a reasonable take. I don't see how there could be any controversy over people attempting to prepare for an emergency.

Are you prepared for the law requiring that, in the time of a disaster, anyone who has a survival kit must take in either a minority family, two homeless people and their shopping carts, or three governmental employees?

I hadn't thought of that! And that if frighteningly close to the thought process of the current administration. I can hear it now; "If you took a federal tax refund, and you have made certain provisions in the case of an emergency then you are required to...."

That all makes sense... But if all that is true, then why would democrats try so hard to build a world they could never live in? ;P [disclaimer] Given that this post is jokingly rhetorical and sarcastic, any replies will be met with only more jocular sarcasm. Just so's ya knows [\disclaimer]

Not yet. But sure, if I was forced to do so I could let them stay in my shed.

Yeah, right. Obama got 100% of the vote in California. Right? And Proposition 8 went down in flames. California is the "three strikes and you're out" state. It is also the state of Proposition 13. California has no shortage of right-wing nutjobs.

Too many of them damn blacks and Latinos voted for it. If we kicked 'em all out of the country and took California back for the white men. . .
