Now here is a wide ranging question, there are loads of Web Application Frameworks such as MVC, CodeIgniter, Fusebox etc out there all claiming to simplify development and design, and make the developers life eaiser. My question is, out of all of these framewiorks, what do you like the most? Jc

I like the one with the functions for encoding and decoding HTML entity strings. And the one with the functions for composing and decomposing multipart forms. Oh, wait... Those are "Libraries"... :-\

          MVC, CodeIgniter

I do like CodeIgniter but I wish there were some features of ASP.NET MVC which were there, unfortunately this is more of a fault with PHP than CodeIgniter. The two big features I'd like to see are: proper master-pages (although I have an idea about how to implement this now so might give it a shot) and attributes (i.e. you can say a method on a controller requires authentication etc).

I doubt it. If it isn't intuitive then we need to fix it. - Chris Maunder

Dammit, one look at the excessively long subject out of the corner of my eye, without even reading the words, and I know it's Shog. I must spend time away from CP.

Cheers, Vikram. (Cracked not one CCC, but two!)

Compilation to native code. Consistency. Things done "my way".
