Good web comics

Here are some very good web comics I came across (appealing drawing, funny/interesting stories), so if you need to kill some time now and then, I highly recommend: Flaky Pastry, Legend of Bill, Hell Hotel and Errie Cuties. (Read them all from the beginning, you can't get good impression by dropping in the middle of the story) The other ones I also recommend are "Menage a 3" (teen 16+) and "Oglaf" (funny, but mostly Not Safe For Work). These are all my permanent bookmarks now. If you like something more artistic, take a look at topwebcomics.com (but I find most are uninteresting for my taste or badly drawn, so you need to look every one for yourself).

Something Positive is a comic that starts off with a gut punch and never lets up. I recommend looking at it and making sure to read the first comic.

Has the artist figured out how to update on a regular schedule yet without an unending stream of excuses about why he's late (hint draw a few weeks ahead of the current date like the pros do)?
3x12=36 2x12=24 1x12=12 0x12=18
I found the best way to deal with his update system is to read it roughly once a week. You usually won't be annoyed then. (answer = no) He has fairly loyal readers but I think he would be much bigger if he had didn't have filler strips so often (or nothing at all.) If regular updates are a key consideration: LICD (Least I Could Do) updates the main comic 6 times a week and has a "Sunday" comic now involving the main character as a kid. Humor is adult, main character is nuts. The same artist does LFG (Looking For Group) twice a week. Sick, sick humor with Richard. Questionable Content rarely has missed days, and usually on special holidays with a filler strip mocking the artist. The series is kind of unusual and is often an acquired taste. Sluggy Freelance rounds out my list. Though he occasionally drops the ball, the humor and story are pretty compelling even after over 10 years and as the story is coming to an end. I read some more, but these are the ones that I tend to make sure I catch.
