Is it The Code Project (like in the banner), Code Project or varient Codeproject (as in 'an article on Code Project'). I generally never use The Code Project, but prefer Code Project. Will the alien not visit me if I don't use the banner title? I frequently use the initialism CP also.

Oh boy. Officially it is "The Code Project" for the organisation, and "CodeProject.com" for the website. Everyone calls us CodeProject. We've been discussing, for about 2 years now, simply going by "CodeProject". ...and then someone asks what exact shade of orange we actually want to use and it all goes downhill from there and we all need a timeout in the corner of the room to stop us fighting.

That's 155/153/0 or #FF9900. :-D
If you truly believe you need to pick a mobile phone that "says something" about your personality, don't bother. You don't have a personality. A mental illness, maybe - but not a personality. - Charlie Brooker My Photos/CP Flickr Group - ScrewTurn Wiki v3

Not on a T-shirt, mousepad, business card or booth backing. Blood has almost been spilled over this.

So I guess the color is a bit more dark, like... blood red?

Of course. The world would be a boring place if everybody agreed on everything. :) Branding, etc is important, yeah, but violent disagreements? :~ Is (255, 106, 0) all that different from (232, 132, 16)?

I filed a bug report with my software over (among other things) the difference between 255,0,0 and 255,44,44; Somehow the ImageStream in a .resx file got corrupted when converting the project from 2k3 to 2k8 with all the 0 values in the images turned into 44's. The difference was subtle enough that no one noticed it until after a new version was released.
