The bigger question is how many people may have noticed it in the first place. Who is using Bing anyway? ;P

I would think so but in my experience no matter how much you test in the test environment something escapes to production. This might be one of those things.
I much prefer Bing for normal searches. The Google maps are better, but I rarely use Google any more.

If Bing gives you a Page Not Found error, does it help to search for it with Google?

In my experience Google provides superior search results over Bing when it comes to looking for programming information, particularly Microsoft platform programming information.

Google has problems as well you know. Remember that false malware link glitch a while back?
I remember gmail being out but I don't ever remember the google search being down.

Google Search wasn't down as such but it was unusable for a short while, i.e., every link produced a spurious malware message. I can't remember how many minutes it happened for.

This week Microsoft foolishly asked my opinion of MSDN Search and VS2008 Help in general. In short form, I told them that the only way to find anything remotely relevant to the question asked of MSDN is to search for it using Google.

Now, there's a trio I hope never to see in the same orgy chamber.

That is not the Micro$oft way. They just put it out and let the users test it. :sigh:
