Wow, what does it do that an iPhone can't already do? I don't get it. Fail. IMO.

I didn't get any requirements for the signature

People who have phones with Verizon can now buy the iPad Wi-Fi version (with no contract). Take that AT&T. ;P

I don't see the point of having a kindle instead of an iPad.

        1. Battery life - The kindle lasts a LONG time, thanks to e-Ink. The iPad is QUOTED as 10 hours, but who knows what the realistic number is? 2) Price - Kindle costs $260. Cheapest iPad costs $500 + $15/month, locked to AT&T

Proud to have finally moved to the A-Ark. Which one are you in? Author of Guardians of Xen (Sci-Fi/Fantasy novel)

You could buy iPad Wi-Fi version. Also all iPads are unlocked.
