You'll note, I never said they weren't, I implied they're human and they will react as any other human would when placed under pressure. The other point being this targets more than just immigrants, and effectively targets a particular racial group rather than simply illegal immigrants as they don't wear "Hi, I'm Pablo the illegal immigrant, I'm here to take yer yob" signs across their back. It is illegal for American citizens to work for below minimum wage, this is not a free market, in a free market system the incentives for immigration is not total welfare after you have a baby, it is jobs. There are no jobs, the only incentives for immigration is welfare.

Illegals paid 24Bn into Social Secutiry in 2008, they took out less than 1Bn. They pay sales tax. They can't go on welfare, as it would expose them to deportation. After all, they allow business owners to ignore American workers who would want a fair and legal wage and instead those business owners pay them under the table avoiding payroll taxes, and little things like minimum wage and benefits. And I'm wondering where that total welfare comes in myself, I had to apply constantly for jobs and even with skills was lucky to get what I have. (no benefits, no time off, limited hours)

Given I'd rather be shot than have a child at the moment I fail to see how feeding a citizen of the US and their caretaker is such a horrible thing. Given the child(if born here) is a citizen. Comes with the territory of everyone here being a decedent of a recent immigrant, with a relatively few exceptions, and you aren't one of them.

Sign me up, that's better than I get. Oh wait, that's all made up. Foodstamps require being a citizen. A baby cannot get food stamps. You know what the government does with babies that are US citizens while the parents aren't? They send them off with the parents. They aren't "anchors" and whoever has been feeding you that line hasn't dealt with it. Unless the kid is an adult, they go byebye. They are a citizen, but that don't mean jack until they are an adult. I've seen a few dozen families that had that happen in this state recently.

Due process requires a legal arrest. Legal arrests require probable cause. Being brown is not probable cause.
