Hi, I am planning to pass MCTS: Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 – Configuration(Exam 70-630) in two months. I have no experience working with MOSS 2007, but I do have more than 5 years of working experience in Developing and Maintaining Web Applications using .Net Technologies. Right now I have a Mini Laptop with Windows XP and have Intel Atom Processor. I cant afford to have a new machine that has Windows Server(2003 or 08 or 10) and install required tools for creating applications using MOSS 2007 neither I can install those tools in my Mini since its not that powerful enough. My question is if someone knows any Web Hosting services that i can use to practice MOSS 2007. If someone knows like free web hosting service or cheaper web hosting service with no or minimum 6 months of contract. I will be very thankful. Arif#

No experience, no practice and you will take the exam in two month. You are what is wrong with the certifications. The good news is people like you are usually found out quickly when can do the job. but in the mean time you spoil the field for qualified people.

I don't want to have an argument here. I was very clear what I asked, and if you don't know the answer please don't reply by starting some new argument. You are the people who wanted to starts arguments on everything and sites like youtube, fb, twitter are for you. Secondly, you dont know me, maybe after reading books and do some practices i will realized that i have to give more time to pass certification or maybe i end up passing certification and getting a very good job and maybe i become successful just by learning in 2 months(as I mentioned I have 5 years of working experience in .Net Technologies) so no one knows other destiny so think before being judgement or dont even reply. First, SharePoint configuration and .NET are two separate things and can't be compared. Just because you have experience in one doesn't mean you will be successful with the other. I don't care how talented you are, studying a subject for two months does not qualify you for the job or to become certified. Doing so is demeaning to all those who have actually earned their certifications through experience and hard work.

First, SharePoint configuration and .NET are two separate things and can't be compared. Just because you have experience in one doesn't mean you will be successful with the other. I don't care how talented you are, studying a subject for two months does not qualify you for the job or to become certified. you can achieve easily its not much knowledge need to learn it should be easy for all i recommand one book that book name is MCTS Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 by sybex james pyles and go with train signal videos it will give lot ideas to you to know about sharepoint ad 1one more suggestion is after learning the administration go with application development (70-542) because you have a strong .net knowledge so sharepoint development should help you to get higher position for career . right now i dont have the exact link but i give you later before that search as a virtual lab because i too use in virtual lab it provided by microsoft but it have only 2 hours

Why are you responding? You are promoting the paper cert over having actual knowledge, experience and skills. People like you give a bad name to the cert process and make it more difficult for those who true possess the skills.
