Visual Studio 2010 & Resizable Intellisense window
-
I really can't understand WTF guys who were developing Visual Studio 2010 were thinking when they took away option to resize Intellisense window %#$^#$&^Y%^! They at least could gave us more than 9 items by default (like 30 by default would be nice). There must have been some topic here on a Lounge on this - I can't find it using search option so please point it out to me so I can join the riots. Also if anyone has idea how this can be fixed (by extending Visual Studio), let me know. Oh, and don't get me started on IDIOTIC close button on tabs... without option to have that close button on top right also.

The tab close ticks me off in Firefox too. Really doesn't make much sense.

Makes sense to me, click the close button on the tab you want to close and that tab closes.

Except when you have a bunch of tabs open at once and you would like to use the mouse rather than the hot key to close 5 or 6 rapidly. What I don't get is why UI designers will give us one or the other but not both.

Exactly my point - give us both. So if I wish to close just current window - it'll be natural to go for that tab button. If I wish to close 2,3 tabs in sequence I'll use button on the right. But for Firefox it's not problem, check this link -> http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/internet/firefox/quick-tip-remove-close-button-from-firefox-tabs/[^]

What I've always wanted is to 'grab' some tabs and then click "close all but these", not "All but this"
