Editing Dialogs
-
Oh dear... :(( I just can't seem to help tripping over more and more problems with VS.NET. Don't get me wrong, I do really like it but this is todays tragic problem: The dialog editor seems to get very upset when working with combo boxes. Quite often, when I click on one it throws up an error saying: Invalid property value: Details: "Object reference not set to an instance of an object." The control is then removed from the dialog (although it can still be seen until the window is re-opened). Also, you can change the size of the drop-down box for a combo. Or can you? It appears that this feature now only works if you select "No Integral Height". Which incidentally is the option that seems to cause the above invalid property value every-so-often. Now, I may be going mad, but I'm sure that these options are not dependent. Anyone else see this? -- Simon Steele Programmers Notepad - http://www.pnotepad.org/
