Ever been to a hog roast? A Huge pig turning on a spit, lashings of honey infused fat dripped over its deliously succulant carcass...hmmmm...[Dribble].

meh! It ain't the real thing unless they day starts with a live pig. Normally this happens at the onset of winter and things start early so have drink to keep out the cold. After killing it, the blood and entrails are taken to make sausages - by the women folk - and the guys [drinking] cut the pig up. Normally you'll roast a leg or something on the day and keep the rest for the 'winter'. Oh, and yo need to drink. constantly.

On that note, why would people eat two strips of bacon? At home I always have at least 6 or more strips of reasonably thick cut bacon. But in restaurants, if you ask for bacon and eggs you get two bacon strips. Why 2? (I am a skinny guy who eats light, I would assume normal to big sized folks would want a dozen strips at least).

And purchased chocolate covered bacon from a chocolate shop there on Main St. Interesting, and tasty but I think I prefer my bacon without chocolate.
