Noooooo - Gibson have lost all credibility.

I thought at first that they had signed it with invisible or at best slow-drying ink. The site takes forever to load.

Oh, that is just tragic. They're just trying to make money tho. I got my custom shop 335 recently, I love it. It's cherry red, but a matte finish. I didn't like the finish at first, but I am getting used to it. I have several Jackson and Dean guitars, and a BC Rich Warlock. The best heavy metal guitar I have by far is a 1979 Les Paul Custom.

Yeah, they just follow the market, really. I am coveting one of the 59 reissue les pauls.

Nice. Going to be playing much Larry Carlton on it?

I'd go with my Iommi SG for that. It sounds so rich and so deep. The bass really thunders on it.
I have CDO, it's OCD with the letters in the right order; just as they ruddy well should be

I was going for BB King, but I'm told I was wrong in thinking he plays one... I've also been getting in to a lot of southern rock of late.

I have an SG, but not a signature one. I get an AC/DC sound out of it OK, but nothing like the Les Paul for thickness and heaviness.

The Iommi Signature is pure Heaven and Hell era Sabbath.

It certainly is. I like to intersperse it with my Jem 777 and my Santana PRS. They all have great tonal qualities. The thing about the PRS is that it sustains forever.

Yeah, a PRS is high on my list to get. Not keen on a Jem, tho.

They should have given that idea the AX and picked another one. Oh well, no sense in fretting.

It's a great gigging guitar. The action is superb, and the trem is spot on.
