I checked out my project this morning. Started working on it to make some changes. 9:00-11:00 I had a meeting so I saved all files and went to the meeting. Came back at lunch time (meeting went a bit longer to 11:30). Grabbed something to eat, and went back to my desk. I made a few more changes. Compile. Visual Studio 2008 showed: "up to date!" But I did make a lot of changes. I did a "rebuild all". No errors. I made a couple of more changes. I need to take a look at a file that I made some changes, so I did a search to some special words I used this morning. Nothing was found. I browse through the file. I only see the file in yesterday's state. None of the new things I typed today was there. What happened? I need some rest.

Perhaps it was all a dream? Maybe your still dreaming, and this day hasn't even begun yet!

I did not close the IDE (with the project loaded) the whole time. The computer was locked during the meeting. Something else I noticed that was changed: some settings such as mail preview in Microsoft Outlook was turned on by itself.
