Just wondering how my article got published when it looks like it shouldn't be :( Unfortunately I am requesting to remove it from the repository. Has the level of published aritcles' quality in codeproject degrading? My intention was to just share a my understanding! FYI, C# Interface – Making Application Resilient to Changes[^] Cheers

Don't be so hasty! That is just one person's opinion. Let your article remain for a few weeks, see what other comments you get. Maybe you will want to make some changes, maybe you will get some good feedback too. Wait for a while before deciding.

The commenter did have a point, in that it might be best categorized as Beginner instead of Intermediate... That's a criticism of the intended audience, NOT the quality of the article. I'm not sure where the actual line is, but I kind of think of it as: Beginner = How to program, or how to use ____ language/tool Intermediate = How to do certain interesting things with the language/tool Advanced = You probably won't understand this unless you're VERY experienced, but it's really cool So I think your article falls under Beginner, as it's really explaining how and why to use a basic concept of OOP. As for quality... I admittedly just skimmed it, but it looks to be well-written.
Proud to have finally moved to the A-Ark. Which one are you in?

Ok, so it's an article about something fundamental. Nobody who comes here, not even our intern, would read it. Especially if the intern can choose between reading some articles here or being lectured by me a bit. Seriously, some people obviously forget that not everyone has a few decades of practice under his belt. A few articles about basics can't hurt, even if they appear redundant. If one article does not bring the message across, then another author's explanations may. But that's just my opinion. Don't get angry and just keep going. Debating probably will not have much use. Perhaps you can make them complain about the complexity of your next topic :)

Don't let that guy cause you grief. If you look at his posting history, he seems to enjoy ripping into articles with low votes. I haven't had a chance to go through the whole article yet so I don't have an opinion myself yet, but I would suggest that you leave the article up for a while to see what the greater CP community thinks about it.
I wasn't, now I am, then I won't be anymore.

"Friar Modest never was a prior" - Italian proverbI agree. My experience with writing articles here is that "basic" articles - over time - get high ratings, because most other articles dive into the middle of a complicated subject, without explaining what's going on.

Your article is definitely worthy of being part of CP. The initial poster is way off the mark on his comments. You have provided good descriptions and excellent analysis. Thanks for sharing it. :)
