Further to Chris' post on the subject earlier in the week, it seems that at least a little common sense is prevailing.... Judge to music industry - worth trillions? Forget it[^] Gist is that in the Limewire case, the industry is seeking $75 TRILLION (yes - trillion) in damages....which is more than the entire planet's annual GDP... Sigh....

C# has already designed away most of the tedium of C++.

Bonus points if they were holding a fluffy white cat when they entered that amount as damages.

This is the music industry in a nutshell.

I think the judge should allow the case, on the provision that the record company has to conclusively prove every individual infringement that would add up to that $75 trillion. And I don't mean just every song... Every act of infringement.
