Well thousands of years ago the average life span of humans was only about 25 at best, so I suppose mating with a 12-16 year old was acceptable, these days however the human lifespan is at about 65 so there is no conceivable reson for any male regardless of age having to mate with a girl of that age.

But the fact remains that not having sex with girls of that age is a recent, very recent, result of largely Western social convention, and that men are by design supposed to be sexually attracted to girls who are old enough to mate. That is why they develop breasts, and everything else that goes along with it, to get the male of the species sexually interested in them. And I was not talking about thousands of years ago, I was talking about a period of thousands of years that ended in modern times. The first age of consent law was in England around 800 years ago, and was 12. Ages of consent in most of Europe only started to rise at the end of the 19th Century. What I believe to be right or wrong is immaterial. The two in the story have both nature and law on their side. Shooting people who disagree with you has neither.

That doesn't change the fact that, if some 51 year old scumbag had been sniffing around my daughter when she was 16, I would have done anything necessary (including shooting the motherfucker) to put a stop to it. I'm her father, and that is the sole justification required.
