I must remember if I have a problem with some code either post question that is a single line that says - "Fix code" or just dump all the code into a question... it appears to be latest cool way of coding judging by the latest set of questions on here. No point trying to Google it or RTFM, just post it here and let someone else do it... :mad: Far enough if you have tried googling it, RTFM-ing it and tried finding sample code, and till don't get it, then post it and I am happy to try and help.

No! (0) You must be as vague as possible. (1) If it is a C# Problem it must be tagged as ASP.NET (2) The Code Dump portion must be both meaningless and unreadable. (3) The Heading must have nothing to do with the problem. (4) Last Line must read "Codez Plllzzz. Urgnt."

Wrong, this practice has been around for a long time. Many have complained about it but it's very unlikely that it will change.

Most (and there are a lot of them) of these get short shrift. I used to give a "non-answer" i.e. one that points to the resources needed to do the work themselves. This gives them the help they deserve and need and takes it out the "Unanswered" list. What started happening was some rep-hungry punter would come along and gives the full POOCAP* solution, and I get downvoted me for not just coughing up code, so I've stopped this policy. *Plain Old Outrageous Copy and Paste
Sort of a cross between Lawrence of Arabia and Dilbert.[^]

A few things have changed: We've gone green. fat_______boy has been banned a few times, so he is madly trying to hyphenate and missing. Trollslayer has departed. We got two sensible questions in Q&A last week.
