What should I do?

There are 3 peices of Iced Madeira Cake (with chocolate bits on top) in the fridge, I can have one if I want. BUT I promised myself that today was going to be a NO CAKE DAY (obviously that was before I knew about the free cake). So do I eat the cake and break my promise or abstain and feel like a saint? The Lounge: I need your decision! :-D

Take one to eat tomorrow, then you can do both.

If for ethical reasons, then don't do it. If for diet reason, this won't influence the result very much, so you can eat the ice, (and don't forget to steal the chocolate bits of the two other pieces.)

Fridays cannot be No Cake Days. It is an unwritten rule. Monday - Thursdays, yes. But Fridays, No! Take the cake.

You have two honest options: - eat cake, BUT work out tonight to work it of. - do not eat cake, do not think about it, go back to fridge work.

Abstain: if you give in once you'll do it again. If you don't have it, it'll be much easier to turn it down next time.
