    How's everyone?

Not too bad, the little one actually managed to let us sleep for a change. How's my home town, Edmonton, doing these days? :)

Wet summer, and a warm start to sept. ALOT of road construction (as well as cranky people). least the skeeters died off some. overall not to bad around EDM. Oh and summer festivals were entertaining. I don't know how old your little one is, but I recomend this "sleepy time " bubble bath by johnson & Johnson. has a lavender scent to it and seems to relax the little ones pretty good. (offers everyone some coffee)

I wish... Little furball not using the litter tray. I'll explain better later when I'm feeling a little more erudite!

Road construction? Why, reparations from winter damage? And where, I remember the north east part of Ft. Road used to get UGLY with repair work in the summer time? Do you remember the summer of '91? Skeeters had a freak boom in numbers, something like 9 times the normal! (To the uninitiated in Western Canadian vernacular, skeeters are mosquitoes) Man, I used to LOVE the Klondike days :) How's the job market?

From last winter, as well as previous ( they are catching up). Fort RD was alright now it's ugly again (they decided to rip up new section), that and around Coliseum. Lots of pot holes were taken care of last year though ( to give the city some credit), andthey are moving LRT north ish towards NAIT. I remember that year :) This year was just as bad due to the rain. I remember back around 2002, 2003, there was issues with Grasshoppers. never seen so many. K-days is no more. It's Capital-X now. same idea, just lacks the identity. guess sign of the times. Nothing still beats those mini donuts though. Summer festivals have grown in numbers, my favourite is the taste of Edmonton, as well as the Caribbean Festival. The fringe was quite popular this year. Alot of great restaruants popping up now. As for work, Slightly picking up. decent contract work, and there is options for developers (We're being held up by the oil and gas industry as well as budding start ups). We weathered the recession decent.

They killed K-Days?! Those BASTARDS!!!! Stomping on my childhood memories that is!!! Moving the LRT North? They've been talking about extending it West to WEM since I can remember! What happened to those plans? I forgot about the grasshoppers! :-D If you ever make it to the University area, just south of Hub Mall (good times :)) There's a really good restaurant that used to make a fantastic yet affordable steak. Earl's was the name. Just do not drink their Albino Rhino beer, BLECH!! I also miss Wendy's square burgers and there used to be this pig out joint called the Royal Fork on the west side (can't remember the specific address). Man I miss home :(

Good to hear! I've got a cousin and a friend both at Bioware[^]. Edmonton has been quite a bit on my mind now that I'm just counting days. If work prospects are good, I might move back there rather than just visit.
