hmm, I think I have a "atm bank" project I once did in vb6. would have to check one of my old hard drives. :laugh: (I know he wants .net , that's for him to update further). [append] I am not laughing at him. if it is a class project, he maybe new to design, if that's the case guidance is needed. I laugh because an old school project is rearing it's ugly head xD .

To be honest, when I started programming, I also thought information about such systems are easily available on the Internet. Its good that some people are kind enough to shed some light about these questions.

Why did you bring this to the lounge? What purpose does it serve other than to mock the poster? That's hardly in keeping with the spirit of the site that Chris tries to promote. If you don't like a question, ignore it or downvote it. Don't hold it up for ridicule as I'm pretty darn sure that you will have asked something foolish somewhere in the past. I know I have.

Come on Pete, with all the respect this is a Lounge, a place where you heal your frustrations, laugh a bit, say hay to the people. You brought this question here, with the express purpose of mocking this person. Think about this from a different perspective. Do we want people to become more active in Code Project, and to help others out, possibly repaying the help they were given when they were starting out? Of course we do. Are we going to encourage them to join in by mocking them? Of course we aren't. All we'll end up doing is driving posters to StackOverflow. Perhaps a little bit more restraint is called for.

I have posted some real crap here in the past...some of it was down right cruel and retarded. These posts, were almost always "instinctive" and not thought out. I'm still learning to think before acting. Every time I hurt someone's feeling here in a malicious manner, I regret it and I know that it has no place here on this site and like Pete says it helps no one, not even you. My 2 cents. :)
