That's interesting. Why would you think I would say that?

Technically speaking the dictionary would define Visual Basic users as programmers.
But here again, a very generalized, liberal definition is being employed and it's wrong

Eliza: Hello. I am ELIZA. How can I help you? You: Hello Lisa Eliza: How do you do. Please state your problem. Wow, it doesn't even know its own name! You: How do you feel about war with Iraq Eliza: Does that question interest you? You: it certainly does Eliza: You are sure? You: well, maybe not Eliza: Why the uncertain tone? You: you put uncertainty into my mind! Eliza: Why do you say your mind? You: I hope it's my mind Eliza: Why do you say your mind? You: it isn't? Eliza: Please go on. You: so who's mind is this? Eliza: Please go on. You: is it Bob's? Eliza: Please go on. You: Different topic, have you visited CodeProject? Eliza: Oh, i visited codeproject. You: What did you think of it? Eliza: Does that question interest you? You: I think it's of interest to Chris Maunder Eliza: Can you elaborate on that? You: I better stop, this post is getting too big Eliza: Can you elaborate on that? Ok, so I was a little bored :) Twice I got glitches where I saw other people's comments instead of my own. I like the reply I got the first time I said "I think it's of interest to Chris Maunder" and got back: You: take your clothes off and describe yourself Eliza: What about your own clothes off and describe myself? :omg: James "The elastic retreat rings the close of play as the last wave uncovers the newfangled way. But your new shoes are worn at the heels and your suntan does rapidly peel and your wise men don't know how it feels to be thick as a brick." Yes, I'm having all sorts of flashbacks to that one. This is a bogus version. I put it in an infinite loop by answering "Yes". Now I have to dig up my old source code from 1980... :) I rewrote Eliza (following Weizenbaum's Lisp patterns in a '78 isssue of the CACM) in C. It was quite a hoot and allowed you to save your conversations and also run in auto-answer mode. Great fun to watch Eliza talk to herself! /ravi Let's put "civil" back in "civilization" http://www.ravib.com ravib@ravib.com

Desktop Bob told me to start fires. Matt is a network administrator for an auditing company in the midwest. He is shamelessly looking for Windows programming side work.
