Ok after several [redundant] pleas to post my subject on a technical forum instead. I changed it to rant. (not about the pleas, you right guys it belongs on a technical forum) I cant believe how increasingly difficult hardware suppliers (not all) can make finding information on how to use their product many biometric and access control companies make it so hard for their clients (the software companies to use their software, which usually involves signing restriction of trade or NDA agreements. And most of these companies that ask you to drop nearly 2 grand for a access control wall reader's website looks like it comes from a pre windows 95 state of design , with password recovery that sometimes takes 2 to infinity weeks. I think a good idea would be fore software companies to come together with a single resource of trusted suppliers with ratings for product (only for use by them) that can clearly asses the Quality, Customer Service, Durability of product, Access to informationa and SDK's and so on to avoid a client from forking out nearly 10 grand on hardware that their IT company find impossible to use. Ok enough venting for the day back to work

Stand by to go grey...you are about to find that ignoring instructions in big letters is a bad idea. This is not a lounge subject. Post it as a QA question[^], and you may get some help.

You might want to try a technical forum for this. The Lounge is for people avoiding work to relax and discuss non-programming related stuff (see the sticky post at the top of the page). I also suggest you Google for a specific Mifare forum. You might get an answer here, but as this is a specific technology, your chances are much higher in a place dedicated to it.
