I just read about the Casablanca[^] library.

I've been going over the docs and the samples, and it seems very good indeed, much better than ATL Server. As I see it, it will allow SOA for native apps. I've already thought of two uses: simplify my native apps that consume data from SharePoint (through SharePoint 2010's REST services), and for native Metro applications to communicate with Cloud services. For me, it seems really nice. Any thoughts?

I haven't looked at it, but I'm sure that Microsoft will manage to dilute it's usability sufficiently by the time it is released. After all, it doesn't have a Ribbon yet... :laugh: Yes, yes, I know it doesn't have a user interface, it was a joke, ok?
