Need an idea

Hi everybody! Hope you didn't gain as much weight as I did over xmas :) Well this might sound strange, but I'm having a lot of spare time now and I just want to develop something that's missing on the market, preferably in the ".Net Development Tools" Arena. But I just don't have a clou about what to develop... Thought about an obfuscator, but those thingies are spreading faster than a flu...:~ What's missing? What is the ultimate tool you really need? Thanks in advance... Matthias
In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, however, there is.

(unknown author)A UI with more features for interacting with MSDE than that offered in the VS.NET environment. I don't have SQL Server or the Query Analyzer and have to work with the UI in VS.NET which doesn't always work very well. For example, when I'm trying to run a stored procedure, the values don't sometime display in the database tool output window. Maybe you could capture the inputs from the osql command line and create a GUI around it. Sort of like how WinCVS does for CVS.

(unknown author)I'm currently playing around with a .NET Grid control framework in C# (ok, I guess I won't be the only one... ) If you want to team up? I really need to look up much stuff now and then, but currently I have a design and half-a-beginning-of-an-implementation which I really like. Peter
As James Bond in "die another day", Pierce Brosnan features traits handy in the dawning millenium. He fights without hesitation in a bewildering environment, trusts his high-tech-gadgets, and rather falls for beauty than pondering the political absurdities around him. [sighist]

I started working on one whose design was very much similar to java swing's grid. Unfortunately I could never devote much time. The mistakes made in this API make me realise that Microsoft has become big enough that it can shelter morons. If anyone working for me wrote anything this bad and tried to release it, I would kill them and display the body as a warning to the rest of the team. - Christian Graus about C# - GDI+

currently it looks good for me, I hope to get around an article in the first half of January.
