Also these people have lived how long on those islands? I am pretty sure they have been through storms of this size in their history and have obviously survived.

Also these people have lived how long on those islands? I am pretty sure they have been through storms of this size in their history and have obviously survived.

Where exactly is that, Colin? I just looked at the Keyhole satellite imagery and spotted two small islands north of the Solomans that look to be underwater... could that be them? One is shaped rather like a boomerang, the other is smaller and just north of that. Both show distinct bright spots along the shores - lights, fires, moonlight reflecting off the breakers maybe.
