          Texas schools are teaching US History - specifically, the Boston Tea Party (what I consider to be the tipping point toward the American Revolution) - as if it were a terrorist act. At the root of every country's origins, one would more than likely be able to discover what would now be called a "terrorist act".           But they aren't, are they? They are teaching critical thinking.

          From your links below:

          The lesson plan then asks teachers to ask students if the event in the news report meets the definition of a terrorist attack, and whether the act is "from a previous time in our history."

          The "News Report" is a Government view of a hypothetical incident. It is that Government that identifies the activists as terrorists. Hopefully, the students would have identified this incident as the Boston Tea Party, and appreciated the need to identify 'spin'.
