Is this forum for all Adobe technologies or for programming related ones? Some guidelines would be useful.

I was brought up to respect my elders. I don't respect many people nowadays.

Yeah, I just saw the new forum and was thinking the same thing. Considering I hate all things Adobe, I'll not be visiting here very often if at all.

I love Fireworks. Of course, the bought it from Macromedia and then haven't done anything to it, so it just continues to do the job well.

Ah! The double-edged sword of a product being bought out and not touched by the new owners. On one side, the product works great and does everything wonderfully, on the other you'll never see any new features added to it. You also won't see their "re-envisioning" of the product either, which is usually a plus! :-D

Adobe and technology? Probably just a test, only visible to 'beta testers' of CodeProject :-\

Well, rockets are OK, but Catherine Wheels are a bit disappointing. ;P

I can prove you wrong since I can see it - I am not a beta guy and happy with it.

                cheers Marco Bertschi

Adobe Lightroom is a seriously good software.

                  I'd rather be phishing!

I don't give a shit about their products. It's the way they do patching that drives me insane at work.

No, this is lots of pain for very little gain. It takes about 2 months for Reader to go through Repack and Testing before it gets deployed. There's a ton of apps we test interop against, and it takes a while to get all the application owners to test their apps against Reader before it can go out to production.
