Our local libraries have introduced audio books online with their own app. I like an audio book for commuting in the car - makes the time pass so much faster than inane radio twaddle. They seem to have a good selection of books to download (on 13 day loan) - I've started listening to "Don't tell Mum I work on the rigs - she thinks I'm a piano player in a brothel" by Paul Carter. Never heard of it - but couldn't resist the title :) Do other libraries offer this sort of service? Or is it just us clever Aussies? (The app is called BorrowBox)

I Denmark they do audio books as well as e-books from the library. You have to be quick though as towards the end of the month they tend to run out of e-books for download.
