Hi Mike. Say, I'll be in Huntsville visiting the Mothership on the 15th of July and I have a few days. If memory serves, you're in Florida, whereabouts? If its close enough, I'll see about going a sightseeing and popping by for a visit.

Good to hear from you, hope y'all are doing well! I moved from Jacksonville,Fl on the 1st of the month and am now in Beaufort,SC. My son's in the USMC and is buying a house and I moved here to help do work on it. Needs a lot of work and he neither has the time nor money to do it so I volunteered. I've been wanting to get out of Jax for some time and this was the perfect opportunity. Would have loved to meet you though.

Last I checked, South Carolina is closer than Florida to Huntsville. If there are any really good BBQ joints in the area, I'll happily drive. We'll see if can also rope in anyone from the Savannah area.

Sounds like a winner, I'll look for a good BBQ joint. When do you plan on coming? I've got a "Life celebration" for a friend and neighbor that died of breast cancer a couple of months ago in St. Augustine the weekend of the 20th but other than that I'm free.

Well, I'm flying down on the next Monday, the 15th and I'm staying there until the 3rd of August. There is a cluster of 3 or 4 days in between when I'm waiting on students and instructors to fly in which I shall be taking advantage of and connecting with people, nature and the Engineering departments of universities in the area. I'll have a more detailed itinerary when I land at the mothership. Sorry about your friend Mike.

I've been good, thanks. But people change, things change. What I really mean by that is, I'm eating more of Kaju ka halwa these days. :laugh: I'm also biting the mud at cooking because wife cooks far better (but I score better at rice recipes, fruit shakes, and Indian pan-cakes like Uthappam, Adai, Masal Dosai, etc.). Oh, yeah. I got married a year ago, when you weren't around. :) I'm looking at my trip that's coming up this September. We're looking at a number of places including Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, and if possible, a few more countries around there. Can't wait.
