I have a dir on my HDD that is 13,5Gb!! It's named _RESTORE and is hidden. I don't know if WinME or Win2000 created this (I run both on the same computer) but do you know if there is important data in that file!?!??!

These files are listed inside the dir:
    DISKCFG.DAT
    SRDISKID.DAT
    VxDMon.cfg
    VxDMon.DAT

Is there any secure copy of data that is saved by Windows automaticly when crashes happen or what!?!?!? How can I "run" these to restore the configurations!?!?! if it's necesarey!? Those are created by System Restore. --Mike-- Looks like I picked the wrong week to stop sniffing glue. 1ClickPicGrabber - Grab & organize pictures from your favorite web pages, with 1 click! My really out-of-date homepage Sonork-100.19012 Acid_Helm

Michael Dunn wrote: System Restore Guess it's on Win2000 then? (because I run to OS) I wonder if it's safe to delete the _RESTORE directory? What exactly is stored in the fiules? Is it last working configuration perhaps? Rickard Andersson@Suza Computing C# and C++ programmer from SWEDEN! UIN: 50302279 E-Mail: nikado@pc.nu Speciality: I love C#, ASP.NET and C++!
