"... you were just holding out so you were unemployed for longer than me, weren't you? " I wasn't going for any records. I'm just glad I ended up with a cool job after all. The only bad thing is the 1.5 hr commute through the rural country side of southern New Hampshire (where the high today was 0F and we've got 4 feet of snow). I get to play with robots all day though. I think I'll build a blonde. Did you find some gainful employment yet? Knoxy

But it isn't programming, it isn't even technical. Currently getting people on to a local radio station and helping them find topics and research them for the show. Next it will be refurbishing computers to give to the underpriviliged. It sucks but I get paid. Not sure when the market will pick up. Hopefully you can get back on the tech side of things soon. My unemployment ran out months ago so I started doing my own thing building systems, doing websites, tech support, etc; basically just pimping myself out through word-of-mouth. I should've called my biz "Compu-Hoe: I Do Computers". The tech market still sucks but there's alot of people with computers who don't know how to use them or where to get them fixed/upgraded , etc. After I got over the initial wierdness of billing people, I found that they were more than willing to pay for help. It wasn't too much programming but I was still gettin' cash to play with computers. Is it possible to get any work for yourself? That's what helped get me through. Didn't make me rich but it did help. Good luck finding a job you like. Josh Knox
