Well... more like a very stringy teriyaki chicken.

I don't think I could get past the physiological aspect of eating dog or cat, have had to many pets that I loved dearly of both species.

That is just an OS Commerce site giving as an example of what I can do for you (not necessarily you). Unfortunately, I don't have any of the things offered on the sample site. It is just a sample. Having said that I could direct you to where you could get a copy. Send me an email and I will respond.

22lbs is not that huge - we had Beldin, who was 18lbs (UK) of muscle and venom. It wouldn't have taken much extra food to get another 4lb on him - and I don't think it would have slowed him down. Some cats are just "big boned" and they are seriously strong for their size. I wouldn't put my hands into a cat fight (even between smallish cats) without motorcycle gloves on! To give you an idea of his size: https://www.dropbox.com/s/wyw40yrqniftg8t/BeldinInNormalPose.jpg[^] - that is a normal size armchair (but he's on his back) https://www.dropbox.com/s/ng676zxzfqv0au5/MitchAndBeldin.jpg[^]

Maybe it was a Main Coone (or something like that) cat. Those can get quite large. Regarding the the dog, it depends mostly which pet was there first. If the cat was there first and scratched the dog while it still was a puppy, that dog will never again mess with the cat in his lifetime (and might develop a phobia against other cats as well).

The good thing about pessimism is, that you are always either right or pleasently surprised.

Second largest breed is still a cat. It's not a tiger, it does not hunt humans.

Not large enough to be threathening.

A dog will need to know it's place; if the alpha-male isn't one, then the dog will eventually try and challenge that position.

If things were that easy you'd simply smack the dog hard when he first pisses in the house and it'd be house-broken.

Depends; go without food for a week, smoke five joints and have someone try that recipe. I believe the correct term for herding meat may be "symbiosis".

..think it's more "nurture" that's being dismissed in favor of "nature". Or, in other words, it's merely a stupid idea that one should not eat cats. My grandparents had the cutest rabbits. And they tasted great, each Christmas. The dodo didn't survive, but an animal that tastes like rabbit (or chicken) will always be bred by humans. I still don't understand why people would rather try to eat insects than mammals. Anyone here who would rather eat a grasshopper than a cat?

What is the difference betweeen a US pound and UK pound? Gallons I understand, but not pounds.

I don't try I do eat insects. They have more protein than mammals and they are tasty too. My favorite is locust but crickets are very good also. Some of the caterpillars are good also. Scorpions have a very hard shell so I don't eat them as often as other insects but they have a distinct flavor. Why do you not like insects? :~
