Hello, the CPians around the world.;) I'm now working for Message Board development with .NET Passport Signin. I downloaded the simple Message Board sample code with .NET passport, I found how hell .NET Passport setting is! 1) .NET Passport Administrator Utility GUI is so ugly. I guess that the intern of MSFT must be created. 2) If we update the setting like returnURL in .NET Passport Manager web site, we have to wait around 24 hour to take the effect of the new setting. (In fact, this is true.:(( ) I want to take a test "now"..... X| 3) I don't have enough info about .NET Passport setting in the MSFT newsgroup. 4) Before we make the product registration of .NET Passport - Preproduction, we get just one site ID - "1". 5) Test in Windows 2000 workstation doesn't work very well. Test of Win2k Server is far better. Well, MSFT should improve the documentation of .NET Passport setting. -Masaaki Onishi (eCoolSoft)- ASP.NET and Windows Development by C# and MFC. http://www.ecoolsoft.com

Hello, the CPians around the world.;) I expect that someone has the same feeling of mine, but... :~ I completed the setting of my new eCoolForum (Message Board) with .NET Passport. If you want to login eCoolForum, you need .NET passport ID. http://www.ecoolsoft.com/eCoolForum[^] (Known bug) 1) If you signin without the support of .NET passport, you can register the new .NET passport from eCoolForum. But, the login to eCoolForum will fail, and you must close the brower and try again. 2) Signout must be failed. Simply close the browser. Enjoy! -Masaaki Onishi (eCoolSoft)- ASP.NET and Windows Development by C# and MFC. http://www.ecoolsoft.com
