A typhoon hit our country yesterday (July 16, 2014). Heavy rains and strong winds occurred. Although I didn't feel it since I'm inside my room the whole day, the result is clearly evident in most places and when I get out of my shell. It clearly shows how strong that typhoon was. :sigh: And there will be another one coming. :(( On positive side:

There seem to be a time where Inquirer.net got her face out of their lay out. And that was the only time I saw that site very informative.

Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, waging all things in the balance of reason? Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful? --Zachris Topelius Training a telescope on one’s own belly button will only reveal lint. You like that? You go right on staring at it. I prefer looking at galaxies. -- Sarah Hoyt
