Hello, McFly?! (or @MehGerbil ...) It's marked as "joke", with OMG's and WTFs and ;P emoticons strewn throughout. My gosh, do we need to put a legal disclaimer of JOKE ~ JOKE ... (HEY MehGerbil, yeah, it's a JOKE!) on every humor post? I mean, really, does this sentence *actually* make any real sense?!! For you to pile on your moral relativism as to what is wrong or not upon a thread is wholly assumptive of the pejorative declination of absolutism which binds the fibers of our being toward a more cohesive sustainable & harmonic society. Then, again, were you just adding more Thread Flambé, and I missed that?! If so, my bad!

When adding comments to a thread lounge, is it really so wrong to throw a bit of gasoline onto the fire; or lit matches into the gasoline? I mean, if the day's going slow on the real-world side of the screen, why not liven things up on the other side?

It's all relative. If it is cold outside, a little fire would warm things up.

Nice recovery at the end, there. If you read some of MehGerbil's other posts I think you'll see the joke was nearly on you. :-D

Yes, they are called in-laws. However, most people don't have in-laws, they have out-laws.

There are only 10 types of people in the world, those who understand binary and those who don't.

You need a pretty strict definition for it, though, or just about any contribution to a discussion that prolongs or extends it could be termed trolling.

Jeeze, that's trolling, if I ever saw it! Demanding strict definitions or strict adherence to definitions is a typical troll tactic! Where's the "Abuse" button?

Absolutely not! Stirring the pot is a long standing tradition here, among us original members, especially on weekends when things get a bit slow. If any of the newbies think it trolling, screw 'em. Let them find their own site and leave us to have a nice time.
