I use a personal MoinMoin[^] wiki instance. See here[^] for how to do this.

What do you get when you cross a joke with a rhetorical question? --- The metaphorical solid rear-end expulsions have impacted the metaphorical motorized bladed rotating air movement mechanism.

I still own the domain pensieve.org, which was once alive and using screwturn wiki for just that.

I guess, first off, do you even have a blog? And if so, do you use it for private things, like important notes, etc? Reason being, it just occurred to me that the notes on how to backup a Postgres database, transfer it to my PC, and restore it locally, are commands I always have to do a "history" on to see how I did it. Figured, I might as well use my blog but keep the post private to retain these little workflow gems. Marc

Yes, I have a blog, not that it has anyone following it. I get excited when my views for a week goes above 5. But, my main reason for blogging is not to garner a troupe of followers. I started it because I like to write. Also, like a lot of people, I have the notion that something I write will be of value to someone, some day. What I've come to realize is I'm that someone. My blog is where I put all the nifty stuff I've thought through, and some I haven't. (Those are called "Drafts". I find writing my blog gets me to understand more what I am writing about. I also find my blog is a good way to go back and find out what I figured out in the past.
