I want one! NOW! You can keep the popups though :-)

I propose that whenever we post links that result in one or more pop-ups being displayed, we post a warning message. [EDIT] And no, I'm not going to switch to some half-baked browser until it has 95% of the market share. [/EDIT] Jon Sagara Hi! I'm Melanoma, Moley Russell's wart. -- Uncle Buck

I run Popup Stopper[^]. I didn't see any popups when I visited that site. The only thing that's a bit annoying is that sometimes you get a script error when a popup is blocked. I know you can hide script errors, but since I'm in web development, I have to show them. But it still beats seeing popups.

So when you are developing a site which has nutters for clients who actually want pop-ups then you can tell Popup Stopper to let the popups through for URL x? Or do I have to say "Yes allow pop-up" and "No, don't allow pop-up" every single time?

I don't develop web sites for clients - I work for a large company, doing ASP .NET web and base class development. I work mainly on things that will be used for inhouse systems. As for Popup Stopper, the free version is not very adaptable (it's either active or not), but it gets the job done.

I said the same thing. Then I got cable and started searching all over the web. Pop-ups galore. I now use Mozilla (browser only) and have changes the settings to not allow pop-ups. I really miss IE, but they stopped allowing you to block javascript.open after what IE5.0. I'd go back any day, as long as they re-enabled the script blocking features. I haven't had a single pop-up in the last 2 1/2 months.... :-D

I would appreciate fair warning. The only thing I hate about the Internet more than pop-ups is SPAM. Jon Sagara Hi! I'm Melanoma, Moley Russell's wart. -- Uncle Buck
