There's another one getting in on it. Alan Rickman dead: Harry Potter actor succumbs to cancer aged 69: latest - Telegraph[^] Darn it - he was one of my favourite actors; there's no film so bad that he couldn't bring a bit of sparkle to it (yes Robin Hood - Prince Of Thieves, I'm looking at you).

MediaMass now reporting that death is real. It was somewhat inevitable that one of these days a death hoax was going to bite somebody in the posterior. Looks like today's the day. Hope that means we've seen an end to this kind of particularly unfunny 'joke' but I doubt it.
