    Yeah! This is COOL!

What do you get when you cross a joke with a rhetorical question? The metaphorical solid rear-end expulsions have impacted the metaphorical motorized bladed rotating air movement mechanism. Do questions with multiple question marks annoy you???

An iOS dev and I built a non-trivial POC using Xamarin about a year back, that was very well received.  However, the high cost of Xamarin at the time was a barrier to entry.  This changes everything. /ravi

I looked at it a couple of times, but the free version was so limited that "Hello World!" was about your lot, and I wasn't going to pay for the full version just on spec. This could change everything (and probably reduce MS market share for the Windows Phone at the same time, which can only be a good thing as far as Desktop development is concerned)

Bad command or file name. Bad, bad command! Sit! Stay! Staaaay...

Yes, the free version was unusable IMHO.  Xamarin was nice enough to give us a year to play with the Enterprise version at no cost. /ravi

This may be the compelling reason for me to move to VS2015. (still using 2010) I suppose then that I can forget about the Android Studio I just installed last week. (and forget Java!) Great news!

Indeed! IMHO, AStudio is orders of magnitude better than Eclipse, but VS (and C#) are orders of magnitude better than both and Java. /ravi
