Just cant figure out how to set breakpoints yet  I'm building the latest ver 3 CVS checkout now (no wonder people are moving to .NET, these builds take ages). The new UI layout (IDEA) is also pretty kewl, but you really need 1024x768 or above. There are many bugs still, hopefully they have fixed the annoying ones. All in all, I rate it rather good. I do miss the VS.NET integrated debugger though. I rated this article 2 by mistake. It deserves more. I wanted to get to the second page... - vjedlicka 3:33 25 Nov '02

That'll keep the compiler from doing unnecessary semantic checks which is completly a waste of time unless you're developing Kdevelop yourself.. :) You could also try building the code using paralellization tricks in make. On a uniprocessor machine, run make -j5. This'll make make run at most 5 paralell compilers. Apparently, 5 is a good number for uniprocessor systems, don't ask me why :) leppie wrote: The new UI layout (IDEA) is also pretty kewl, but you really need 1024x768 or above. You've got less than 1024x768? :~ Are you running it on a laptop or what? :) Hmm.. I think I'll boot up my debian installation and have a go at Kdevelop (if it's available as a package that is) -- Shine, enlighten me - shine Shine, awaken me - shine Shine for all your suffering - shine

See, you're smarter already!;P Everytime I try KDevelop it's "real Alpha". Always looks cool but always seems to be half done. Josh Knox
