We have an ERP system which requires development in JScript.NET ( That's right the version that Microsoft stopped supporting since vs2008 ). There is no other option. There are hardly any resources and if you get stuck you are at perils of trial and error. Now I have requirement to create autocomplete textbox where user can input address and it can make API call to give list of addresses and user can select one. How hard can it be ?

Zen and the art of software maintenance : rm -rf * Maths is like love : a simple idea but it can get complicated.

Less than VB6 I'd say. If I have some VB6 problem I have to solve it myself. Luckily there are no such things as VB6 problems. Maybe that's why they dropped it.

That's because of On Error Resume Next! That still exists in VB.Net

The first commercial program I wrote was in VB6 way back in 1999 and initially ran on Windows 98, and it continues to run flawlessly even today in Windows 10.
