Keeping Pace With The Changing Face Of Web Development
-
I have been studying and using Dotnet technologies, databases and several front-end technologies for a few years. I've studied DotNet Framework 4, DotNet Framework 4.5, jQuery, SQL Server etc. but many newer versions of these technologies have been released. I probably should just focus on core concepts and try to improve my skills by writing clean maintainable code instead of worrying about the changes. Having said that, it is kind of daunting when I think about the slew of changes that DotNet and other technologies are going through. Eventually I will have to abandon the versions of technologies that I'm familiar with and learn the newer versions. What do most developers do to keep pace with the changes and do they even try to keep up with all the changes?
