Ordering VS.Net 2003
-
I was going to order it last night ($30 bucks for current VS.NET users), but when I went to their online ordering website http://order.microsoft.upgrade.com/visualstudio/[^], the page that asked for a credit card number was not secure (didn't have the golden padlock in the lower right corner of IE). I guess I will have to call them instead. Maybe one of the MSFT members here could take a look at this. On a side note, I remember seeing one web site a while ago that was secure, but the webmaster had the secured page in a frame, so IE didn't show the secure symbol. That might be the case here, but I'm not willing to take the chance.

I ordered the upgrade and received an e-mail that this product is already on back order to end of may:zzz: this seems to make for either a huge demand or is there a problem with the release/ or was the demand much higher than expected:confused::confused:
