Transmeta and Microsoft
-
According to ZDNet, Transmeta will deliver the processor that will power the Microsoft Tablet PC. I think it's pretty ironic to see Mr. Linux coorporating with Microsoft (no offence, I just think it's ironic, since a lot of Linux-users seem to hate Microsoft, Mr Linux himself doesn't seem to bother at all) -- Alex Marbus www.marbus.net

Hello there, What really is the point here? Linus is just one of the workers Transmeta, not the owner or the processor product manager. Besides, they are working on a Linux version for all their processors that will be freely available. Remember the founder of Transmeta is the co-founder of Microsoft, hope you are not new in this field :-) Regards, Paul. Paul Selormey, Bsc (Elect Eng), MSc (Mobile Communication) is currently Windows open source developer in Japan, and open for day job or programming contract anywhere!

What really is the point here? No point at all, as I said, I only said I think it's ironic. I didn't know the founder of Transmeta was the co-founder of Microsoft, which one is it? (Just curious :)) -- Alex Marbus www.marbus.net
