If you need a bit to store a flag, you just go to the AWS console, go to the BaaS, and configure a bit for use, along with the level of redundancy and up-time you need for extra cost. I mean, it's going to get there eventually right?

Actually, I'm going to put them all out of business with my new idea - SvaaS (Services as a Service.)

Faas - Failure as a Service. This is something I could bring a lot of experience to, so I think I could have a real go with that idea. Of course the real winner is ultimately going to be SxaaS - Sex as a Service. Oh, wait, we already have that, though it's not in the cloud yet, it's more hotel based I guess.
