Because this newcomer is a old fart, and one of the great ones, too. Read his articles.

See this article :- Click here for Joe's dialogs article Joseph M Newcomer (the greatest living Win32 programmer) has put a link to my article on his MFC dialogs article and has also said some really wonderful things about my article. Of course he didn’t refer to me by name, but I guess when you are a god-like celeb like he is, it’s not easy to remember puny little nobodies like me. I can’t tell you how delighted I am right now. Of late, for certain reasons I have been so tied up with stuff to do, that I haven’t been CPing much; but I simply had to come here to tell you all this. If Joe had a daughter I’d have proposed to her a 1000 times till she agreed to marry me. Joe rocks! He simply rocks! Regards, Nish

I couldn't live in a world devoid of love, and romance is to me an expression of love. Enough said I think! Cool! I have a story to tell about Joe. Back around 1997, he came to the company I work at to teach a one week course on MFC. We went out for lunch and I drove. We ended up getting stuck in a traffic jam which made us both rather late getting back for the class. I felt bad because he had to walk into a classroom full of impatient students. But, I must say of all the classes I have taken, I enjoyed his the most! :) Todd
