Wow, someone else who like ObjectPascal - that seems pretty rare around here! I used to use it as well, and learned most of my Win32 programming using it (from around '96-2000). Personally I always thought it was a superb language (and tool, i.e. Delphi), and I miss it alot - it made programming genuinely fun! ¡El diablo está en mis pantalones! ¡Mire, mire! Real Mentats use only 100% pure, unfooled around with Sapho Juice(tm)!

I've just given birth to my first .NET application. :-D 82 users on the intranet here. It's been in UAT for the past 2 weeks, and went through a really tough security review process. So I just hope it stands up in the production environment. Thanks also to the midwife (the CP message boards and articles) for all the help. ;) John www.silveronion.com[^]

Make that 3. I worked w/ Delphi and Borland C++ Builder for most of my career, making the switch to .NET (C#) in summer of 2001. I love C#, but occasionally miss ObjectPascal.

I also used Delphi from, err..., 95 - 98, then I changed to VC++, and have never looked back ;) - Anders Money talks, but all mine ever says is "Goodbye!"
