I'm sure if you just went outside and just found an empty corner and plugged up a boom box and started dancing by yourself, soon people would join you and you would have your own dance club. Worst case, people will throw money at you.

Does it need to be in NYC? Hoboken NJ is filled with bars and night clubs, all within easy walking distance of each other. try http://www.hobokeni.com/nightlife.asp[^] for a list of what's going on.

I've never been to NYC for a night out. Last time I visited I was about 6 years old with my parents (loved the toy shops, but didn't really pay attention to much else).
