...I can't ask anyone for help because the code is too complicated to readily explain or there's too much of it or something. For whatever reason, I wind up facing it alone, just sitting with the problem, often seemingly helplessly for however long it takes me to work through it. Sometimes I'll put something down for months. I'm almost there right now with my current endeavor - an SVG engine for C#. I don't know if I'm doing something very wrong, if I'm too ambitious, or if everyone runs into this issue more often than not. In any case, I have a love/hate relationship with getting stuck. It can be extremely frustrating, but on the other hand I like the challenge, and it tends to force me to learn something new.
